Welcome and Thank You for Visiting Our Website!
Boys & Girls Club of Alton is one of over 4,000 Clubs nationwide affiliated with Boys & Girls Clubs of America. In addition we are a proud member of the United Way of Greater St. Louis and Illinois Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs. We are a non-profit organization that is funded through individual contributions, donations, corporate contributions, fund raisers, special events, grants, and foundations. THANK YOU to all that have donated to us and to those who are considering donating in the future to help support our mission.
Our MISSION is to enable all young people especially those who need us most to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
We serve area youth between the ages of 6 to 18 years old, currently serving over 1,300 active members. Our core programs areas include Character & Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, The Arts, Sports, Fitness, and Recreation.
The Boys & Girls Club of Alton helps kids by keeping them off the streets, promoting diverse interactions, and providing mentors, role models, physical and emotional security. Additional opportunities and benefits include providing our Youth of the Year with scholarships, homework help and tutoring sessions, goal setting, child safety, skill building, and prevention programs. More information on what we offer can be found throughout this website.

Through a partnership with Alton Community Unit School District #11 (ACUSD) we were able to move into our current 10,000 square foot facility in mid 2018. We sincerely thank ACUSD for being a valued partner to the Club and for their assistance with our joint mission to serve our area youth.
